About the firm

Independent advisory for judgement-intensive work.

Synesis is a specialist enterprise AI advisory for professional-services and workforce-intensive organisations, with distinctive legal, governance and human-rights depth. We help executive teams decide where AI genuinely creates value, redesign the work and decision rights required to use it responsibly, and guide implementation through to measurable results.

Founder-led

At the intersection of law, transformation and responsible AI.

Synesis was founded by a lawyer and researcher working at the intersection of enterprise transformation, responsible AI and human rights. The founder's experience spans global professional services, government research in international law and academic work on the societal and organisational consequences of emerging technology.

Doctoral research examines how AI and social robots affect human dignity, privacy, autonomy, equality and freedom of thought. This perspective informs Synesis's practical approach: identifying where AI can create genuine value, designing responsible divisions of human and machine responsibility, and preserving accountability in judgement-intensive work.

Scope

A clearly bounded role.

Synesis leads enterprise AI strategy, operating-model design, governance, adoption and value realisation. We are vendor-independent and do not resell software.

Synesis is not a software engineering house or legal practice, and does not provide legal, tax, investment or insurance advice.

How we work

Three principles that shape every engagement.

01

Judgement, not just automation

We focus on the organisational conditions under which work and authority can be shared between people and AI without weakening accountability or quality.

02

Business-led, technology-aware

Every recommendation starts from organisational value, risk and workforce reality — never from a tool looking for a use case.

03

Human-centred by design

AI transformation should create lasting value without treating people, professional judgement or institutional trust as expendable inputs.
